Stone Electronic Technology parent company substansively increase stake

Stone Electronic Technology(0409) declared to HK bourse that its parent company bought 76.46mln more shares on April,18, accounting for 7.24% of the issued shares. Last time Stone Group Corporation bought 74.1mln more shares on Sep6,2000. The action this time was unusal.Stone Group Corporation held totally 40.96% Stone Electronic stake by last September, and this time the stake would accountabout 48%. Stone Electronic Technology announced 2000 loss up to HK$216mln. Stone Group had planned to absorb international investment in this first quarter, and would invest RMB50mln to four scientific projects. There was no further information about this.
