Hong Kong and China Gas plans to join China's West-East pipeline project

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Hong Kong and China Gas Co Ltd executive director Chan Tat Hung said the company plans to participate in China's West-East gas pipeline project.	    Cited by the Sing Tao Daily, Chan said the company is likely to take a minor stake in the downstream portion of the project to build the network for gas delivery to households.	    In Hong Kong, Chan said the company is planning to add an undersea gas pipeline to connect west Kowloon with Hong Kong iland.
