Hong Kong govt to sell additional 15 bln hkd MTRC shares: report

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - The government is planning to sell an additional 15 bln hkd worth of MTRC shares, the Hong Kong Economic Journal cited a government spokesperson as saying.The spokesperson said the government has issued 50 invitations to investment banks asking them to come up with financial proposals for the MTRC share sale, adding it has received 26 proposals. She said the government will select a financial adviser and a global coordinator for the share sale. The spokesperson said, however, the government has not set a timetable for the share sale.
