Goldman Sachs placing 25 mln shares in Cable & Wireless at 500p -- dealers

LONDON (AFX) - Goldman Sachs is placing 25 mln Cable & Wireless PLC shares in the market at 500 pence, dealers said.	    Market watchers speculated that a large investor was selling the stock in order to finance the purchase a tranche of today's Vodafone PLC placing.
