Hong Kong & China Gas has no plan of raising price

Chan Wing Kin Alfred, director of Hong Kong & China Gas (0003), said that the company had no plan to raise the gas price, but he admitted that the company was under the pressure of raising price because the cost had risen and the gas price of the company had not been raised since 1998. However, Mr Chan said that the company had taken actions to control the cost and the gas price needn¡¦t be raised at present due to the effective cost controlling.
