Anhui Conch Cement plans 1.3-1.5 bln yuan clinker plant

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Anhui Conch Cement Co Ltd chairman Guo Wensan said the company is planning to invest 1.3-1.5 bln yuan to build a clinker plant in Anhui province.	    Cited by the Hong Kong Economic Journal, Guo said the factory is expected to produce 8,000 tonnes of clinker daily. 	    Guo said the investment proposal is pending approval from the government, but he expects the company will obtain the approval by the end of this year.	    Guo said the company is expected to invest an additional 4 bln yuan to expand its existing production capacity over the next 3-5 years.	    Apart from the planned A share issuance plan, Guo said the company is likely to secure loans to fund the expansion plan.	    Currently, the company has 300 mln yuan in cash.
