Giordano Q1 sales up 8% to 9%

Management team of Giordano International (0709) revealed to BNP that the company saw a rise of 8-9% in Q1 sales compared with the same period of last year, in particular its HK business. BNP maintained the rating of ˇ§leading marketˇ¨ on Giordano and expected its 2001 earnings per share to be HK$0.342.
