Taiwan April CPI up 0.44% over the same 2000 period

TAIPEI (AFX-ASIA) - The April consumer price index was up 0.41 pct year-on-year, but was down a seasonally adjusted 0.13 pct from March, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics said. It said the April core price index was up 0.53 pct from a year earlier. For the four months to April, CPI rose 0.54 pct from a year earlier, it said.
