China Light & Power Holdings (0002) purchases 80% shares of Yunnan Dianchi Firep

Shao Qiwei, Vice Governor of Yunnan Province, stated that China Light & Power Holdings (0002) would purchase 80% shares of Dianchi Firepower Plant.Shao was quoted as saying that China Light & Power Holdings has signed intention of investment and is expected to ink formal deal next month. Shao said that the investment in the project hit RMB4.7 bln, adding that China Light & Power Holdings intended to acquire one-third shares of Yangzonghai Power Plant, which is under assets evaluation.
