Cisco System awarded contract by China Telecom to supply 500 routers

Cisco System announced that it has been granted a contract by China Telecom to provide the latter with 500 routers of 12000-type and 12400-type.The company gave on financial details.According to the deal, Cisco will furnish network equipment for ChinaNet under China Telecom.ChinaNet, China¡¦s largest Internet service provider, has provided Internet service in 300 cities and will connect relevant networks by equipments offered by Cisco.
