Motorola acquires five contracts worth US$146 mln from China Mobile

Global Telecom Solutions Sector under Motorola announced that the company has inked five contracts valued at US$146 mln with China Mobile (0941) to provide the latter with GSM and GPRS mobile networks in 5 leading provinces and cities in Mainland China.The partnership followed the deal worth US$213 mln reached on April 25. The new network is expected to cover 158 mln people.
