Court appoints temporary liquidators for Leading Spirit and China Dinicontent

Leading Spirit High ¡VTech (0606) and China Dinicontent (1197) announced that regarding application by Standard Chartered Bank for the appointment of temporary liquidators, Gabriel Tam and Alan Tang of KPMG, Hong Kong and Malcolm Butterfield of KPMG Bermuda were appointed as temporary liquidators of the two companies. The two companies are still suspended to wait for the evaluation results by the temporary liquidators.

Furthermore, the court ordered the liquidation hearing of the two companies was extended from May 21 to no early than July 21.

The temporary liquidators are auditing and reserving the assets of the two companies and assure that they will report the possibilities of restructure based on the evaluation on the financial situation of the two companies.

 Zheng Wei-chang, Executive Director, Deputy Chairman and President of China DigiContent, has applied to resign.
