Ericsson to keep Chinese mobile phone plants

STOCKHOLM (AFX) - LM Ericsson AB will keep its mobile phone plants in China, despite its recent handset outsourcing agreement with Singapore's Flextronics,  Dagens Industri reported citing Ericsson chief executive officer Kurt Hellstroem.

	    Hellstroem said: "Those factories are of the highest standard and very profitable...Our costs are lower here (in China) than anywhere. We will naturally not cut back where we can continue to expand."
