Wharf not plan to privatize Harbour Centre Development

Gonzaga Li, chairman of Harbour Centre Development (0051) said after shareholder meeting that Wharf (0004) had not considered privatizing Harbour Centre Development even if Wharf would carry out restructuring plan. 

When asked about hotel business of the company, he said although there was increment in the number of tourist last year, most of them were from mainland. Consumptive ability was on weak side and it was hard for the company to improve rental. Hotel occupancy rate in Q1 was the same vs last year. Whether to raise rental or not, depended on market situation.
