MTR to be composite stock not affect gvmt timetable of launching 2nd batch MTR s

Jack So Chak Kwok, chairman of MTR Corporation Ltd.¡]0066¡^said although the company will be one of composite stocks on June 1, the ID change will not influence government timetable of launching the 2nd batch of MTR shares.

 He said the company does not have the intention of raising ticket fare at present but an annual examination on ticket price is carried out to maintain its competitive ability.
