I-Cable to launch VoIP service next yr over high-cost IP

Stephen Ng, deputy chairman and CEO of I-Cable Communications (1097), said the company will not launch VoIP service in short terms due to still high tech cost. It is to be launched next year.

 Stephen Ng welcomed the decision of Hong Kong government to reaccept application for fixed net license, saying it will help healthy development of the market.
