I-Cable Communication expects number of broadband users to reach 150,000

Stephen Tin Hoi Ng, deputy chairman and CEO of I-Cable Communication (1097) expected the number of its broadband Internet users to reach 150,000 by the end of this year.

Stephen Tin Hoe Ng pointed out after the annual board meeting that the number of the broadband users of the company was expected to reach 100,000 by the end of June.

He admitted the speed of the growth of the broadband users was higher than expected.

Furthermore, the company signed contracts with 50,000 users last year and 50,000 users were expected in the first half and second half of this year respectively, added Stephen Tin Hoi Ng
