Ericsson notifies 4,000 workers of job cuts as part of restructuring programme

STOCKHOLM (AFX) - LM Ericsson AB said it is to issue redundancy notices to 4,000 employees in Sweden, from today, as a part of its earlier announced restructuring programme.

	    The company said it will also cut the number of consultants it uses in Sweden by 4,000.

	    Ericsson's cost cutting programme, announced on March 27, aims to cut the company's total costs by 20 bln skr annually.
