China mobile phones companies expected to be less than 4

After meeting with the officials of China Ministry of Information Industry and several telecom companies both inside and outside of China, Credit Lyonnais said in his report that the number of mobile phones companies in China in 5 years was expected less than 4 and China would not issue the third mobile phones license this year.

Cited the officials of China CMII as saying, the authority would not give up the rights of prices decision before China telecom market was wholly opened and it would adjust the strategies according to the situation if some managers suffered heavy loss in the opening procedure.
