China Everbright waits for the opportunity to benefit from selling China Mobile

Guo You, CEO of China Everbright (0165) noted that its shareholdings in China Mobile (0941) were still the main sources of its profit and it would sell the China Mobile shares in hand at proper time.

For the time being, China Everbright still holds 52 mln shares of China Mobile, which worth about HK$2.07 bln accounting as today¡¦s price of HK$39.8 per share.

60% net profit in China Everbright last year came from the sales of China Mobile shares, said Mr Guo.
