Japan April turnover of Department Store unchanged yr-on-yr; March down 0.9%

According to Japan Department Store Asociation, Japan April turnover of Department Store was unchanged compared with last year while March turnover shed 0.9%. 



The association pointed out house articles took the biggest plunge of 13.1%, then came men clothing with a drop of 4.2%. Other clothing lost 3.8%. 



Personal product saw the largest up-range, 3.7% higher compared with the same period last year while other items rose by 2.4%, said the association.
