Hutchison Whampoa Ltd expected to release new port project details this month

Cheung Kong (0001) Chairman Li Ka Shing said that its subsidiary Hutchison Whampoa Ltd (0013) is expected to disclose the acquisition of a domestic port within the month and details wonˇ¦t be released for the time being.

He reiterated that China confirmed that the Chinese party must control 51% shares in the port project, saying that the most important for a successful business is mutual-benefit cooperation rather than controlling shares.
