Satellite TV confirms StarTV.com will downsize

Satellite TV spokesman confirmed that its website StarTV.com would trim the workforce with 10 employees to be affected, whose fate would be decided in 2 or 3 days.

iMail cited market sources as saying that Satellite TV cut one third of its staff, or 10 employees, as a result of insufficient pageview and advertisement. 

The move is part of the companyˇ¦s US$12-mln cost reduction plan.
