CITIC Pacific Yankee bond increased 17% to US$350 mln

CITIC Pacific (0267) Yankee bond was added to US$350 mln (around HK$2.73 bln), 0.167 time higher than originally proposed volume. The bond carries an issue price of HK$99.655 and a yield of 7.675%, 228 basis points above the US treasuries.

The bond was underwritten by HSBC and Merrill Lynch and won ratings of Baa2 and BBB- from Moody and S&P.
