China Pharmaceutical to invest RMB50mln to produce health-giving products in co

Ding Er Gang, executive director of China Pharmaceutical Ent.&.Inv.(1093) said after shareholders meeting that the subsidiary Natural Products Company will invest RMB50 mln to set up a new plant to produce health-giving products. The expected selling turnover will reach RMB20mln this year and will grow much fast. Because the plant can only produce raw material at present and it will produce finished products later. He expected the selling turnover will reach RMB 400 mln in three years.

 He continued that the plant is ready to carry out production and the to be invested RMB50mln is mainly used for production and research development. The first RMB10mln will be handled by internal sources.
