Goldman Sachs downgrade profit forecast of Bank of East Asia by 9.7% and 1.68% i

Goldman Sachs downgraded the profit prospect of Bank of East Asia (0023) of 2001 and 2002.

The profit forecast in 2001 was downward adjusted from HK$1.65 to HK$1.49 with a range of 9.7%, a net profit of HK$2091mln. Profit forecast in 2002 was downgraded by 1.68% from HK$1.79 to HK$1.76 with a net profit of HK$2470mln.
