TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - Softbank Corp year to March results: Pretax profit - 20.1 bln yen vs loss 51.9 bln Net profit - 36.6 bln yen vs 8.5 bln Revenue - 397.1 bln yen vs 423.2 bln Opg profit - 16.4 bln yen vs 8.4 bln EPS - 110.47 yen vs 78.05 Final div - 7.0 yen vs 20.0 yen Sales, general and administration costs were 70.5 bln yen, down from 125.2 bln yen previously. The year to March pretax profit figure compares with an earlier forecast by the company of 18 bln yen, while net profit was previously estimated at 29 bln yen. The company did not disclose its group-level year to March 2002 forecasts. The company also reported the following parent-level results: Pretax profit - 7.9 bln yen vs 10.5 bln Net profit - 4.8 bln yen vs 53.6 bln Opg loss - 4.5 bln yen vs loss 3.3 bln EPS - 14.50 yen vs 495.11 For the year to March 2002, the company forecast a parent pretax profit of 5 bln yen and net profit is seen at 2.5 bln yen.
