HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - China Everbright International Ltd 2000 results:

	

	    Net loss - 947.38 mln hkd vs loss 887.59 mln

	    Sales - 469.69 mln hkd vs 635.25 mln

	    Opg profit - 32.59 mln hkd vs loss 124.34 mln

	    Loss per share - 37 cents vs loss 38 

	    Final div - nil; unchanged

	

	    The company said its finance costs in 2000 totalled 114.43 mln hkd, up 

from 99.06 mln a year earlier.

	    Its share of losses from associates was 342.07 mln hkd during the year, 

compared with losses of 446.34 mln hkd in 1999.

	    The company said it made a provision in respect of its interests in 

associates of 543.04 mln hkd in 2000.
