US April durable goods orders and second-hand house sales down 5% and 4.2%
The US Department of Commerce announced last Friday that the orders for automobiles, computers and other durable goods dropped 5% vs a rise of 2.2% in March. The figure is below the anticipation. Meanwhile, April second-hand house sales also decreased 4.2% with annual rate down to 5.2 mln units. The latest data showed the continued weakness in US manufacturing industry.
