Asia-Pacific share markets soften broadly

Nikkei Average Index closed the whole day at 13737.77pts, down 28pts, or 0.2%. Taiwan Weighted Index widened the loss before closing, closing at 5079.72pts, losing 90pts, or 1.75%. Kuala Lumpur share market was adjourned today.
