Taiwan to approve 5 3G licenses for auction in December

Overseas reports said that the Taiwan Executive Yuan announced to approve 5 3G mobile licenses in December. Applications can be submitted from July to October, and bidding will kick off in November. The bidding winner should pay 30% of the bidding price as deposit, while the remainder can be paid in installment.

The 5 licenses include 4 new ones and one first-generation AMPS, all carrying an operating term of 15 years.
