Haywood Investments to invest in mainland traditional industries and bio-tech pr

Haywood Investments (0905) Chairman Wong Fong Kim said at the shareholder meeting that the company would seek investment projects in Mainland and Hong Kong and was now in talks with 2 or 3 domestic companies which are mainly engaged in traditional industries and bio-tech projects, and a decision will come out within the year.

The company invested in Tianjin Standard International Construction Materials Industrial Co., Ltd., which recorded profit last year and registered a growth of 30% in sales in the first half of this year.
