Salomon: Philippine IIHC to be acquired by Hutchison Whampoa values HK$2.34 bln

Hutchison Whampoa harbor announced yesterday it had entered into an agreement with ICTSI based in Philippine and its investors on acquiring ICTSI IIHC, the subsidiary of ICTSI. 

Salomon Smith Barney noted the relevant acquisition would pose no aspect on Hutchison Whampoa, but the company would increase its global market share from the current 11.3% to 20% by continuous acquisition of its ports businesses, believed Salomon.
