HK market short-selling turnover HK$83.49 mln; red chips and state-owned top the

A total of 32 HK-listed firms were short sold with turnover amounting to HK$83.49 mln. 

The three stocks topped the short-selling list are China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (0386) with 8.51 mln shares sold short involving HK$13.52 mln, Legend Holdings (0992) with 1.5 mln shares involving HK$8.51 mln and China Merchants Holdings (0144) with 1.34 mln shares involving HK$8.29 mln.
