Headhunting company submits CEO shortlist to PCCW

The on-line version of Wall Street reported that the headhunting company which was entrusted by the PCCW (0008) to seek a proper CEO in place of Richard Li had submitted a shortlist to the company for reference, with interview expected to start soon.

Likely Among the shortlist are Alex Mandl who takes the post of Teligent CEO after leaving AT&T in 1996, and Robert E. Knowling Jr. who resigned from the Chairman and CEO of Covad Communications last year. The report further pointed out that PCCW has always been looking for a proper candidate in the US telecom market.
