I-Cable Communications rumored to acquire netease

Economic Daily quoted market sources as saying that the Nasdaq-listed netease.com would introduce new investors, and the CTO Ding Lei and other major investors would sell shares to new investors including I-Cable Communications (1097) under Wharf Holdings (0004).

The market sources pointed out that the negotiation was progressing smoothly, and the only problem is that both sides can¡¦t reach a consensus on netease¡¦s turnover evaluation. I-Cable Communications may get netease controlling right once the sticking point is solved.
