John Bond: reason for ATM system malfunction to be found soon

HSBC Holdings (0005) Chairman John Bond said that the automatic teller machine systems of HSBC and Hang Seng (0011) suffered breakdown yesterday, which caused slight impact to the transaction. However, he still expressed apology to those affected clients.

He added that the glitch was solved immediately and the reason was under investigation.
