I-Cable Communications confirms acquisition of website

I-Cable Communications (1097) Multi-media Service Vice President Benjamin Tong said in an interview that the company intended to purchase websites, but refused to make comment on whether the Nasdaq-listed netease.com will be the target of acquisition.

He said that the company had conducted talks with many Internet content providers, but declined to reveal if netease was among them.
