Report: Hutchison Whampoa raises HK$12 bln syndicated loans with 5-year and 7-ye

Hutchison Whampoa Ltd (0013) is financing HK$12 bln syndicated loans which will be used as operating capital and for debt repayment, with HSBC and Bank of China as its underwriters.

The loans included two parts: HK$9 bln 5-year loan carrying an interest of 38.5 basis points above HIBOR and HK$3 bln 7-year loan with an interest of 43.5 basis points above HIBOR.
