CIL Holdings subsidiary receives liquidation petition

CIL Holdings (0479) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Building Materials Interior Decoration Co received a winding-up petition recently, for the subsidiary has HK$476,000 un-audited amount in the 9 months ended March 31, 2001. Fortunately, the liquidation petition would pose slight impact on CIL Holdings since the company was not the major subsidiary under the group.

Besides, CIL Holdings is unclear about the reason for the swelling turnover and will resume trading today.
