SIA predicts global semiconductor industry grows 20%
US Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) said that the global semiconductor sector was expected to revive in the second half of this year and begin to grow from next year with an estimated up-range of 20%, and the figure would climb up to 25% in 2003. As for the wafer market this year, the association predicted that it would record a minus growth of 14%.
