Wong Yuenfai hopes Standard & Chartered take 2% mainland market in 8 yrs

Standard & Chartered China-region general president Wong Yuenfai said in an interview that he hope the bank will take 2% mainland market in seven to eight years.

He estimated there are 190 foreign-fund banks in mainland taking 2% mainland market. With the entry of WTO, PRC will open the market gradually and foreign-fund bank will take 10% mainland market in the coming 7 to 8 years.
