Concern over the operation stoppage of oil refining plants in Texas stirs oil pr
The flood caused by the tropic hurricane hit Texas in US. The market concern that the disaster would suspend the operation of oil refining plants in the state pushed the oil price up 1.27%, or US$0.36 to US$28.69 per barrel. According to statistics by the US Petroleum Association, the rude oil refined by the plants in Texas claimed more than one forth of the total production in the US in the week ended June 1.
