CLP rumored to acquire 50% proceeds in Gulf Electric

According to informed sources, ,Lanna Lignite Plc plans to selling 50% proceeds in Gulf Electric Co to CLP (0002) at HK$2.499 each. The report said relevant dealing will be approved by the board of Gulf Electric Co today.

The report said CLP and Electricity Generating PCL is fighting for about 100mln shares in Gulf Electric owned by Lanna Lignite PCL

At present, Electricity Generating PCL and Thailand's Lanna Lignite PCL owned 50% stake in Gulf Electric respectively.
