Parent of Shanghai Industrial rumored to issue HK$1560mln convertible bonds

According to securities circles, parent of Shanghai Industrial (0363) plans to issue HK$1560mln convertible bonds with exercise price of HK$19. Bond holders can exercise warrant by bartering bonds for old shares of parent of Shanghai Industrial. The bonds issue will be handled by BNP.

In Feb 1998, parent of Shanghai Industrial also issued the same convertible bonds.
