China Mobile says no concrete timetable for acquiring 18 provinces network asset

China Mobile (0941) chairman Wang Xiaochu said acquiring mobile telecom network of 18 provinces from parent is a long-term strategy of the company but it depends on actual market situation. At present, the company will concentrate energy on consolidation of the seven mobile telecom businesses acquired last year. He stressed that there is no concrete timetable for the acquisition of 18 provinces network assets.
