Everest International issues 40mln new shares by top up placing

Everest International Investments (0204) announced that it would issue 40 mln new shares at HK$0.247 each by the top up placing through its leading shareholder to raise HK$9.88 mln. The net raised fund of HK$9.33 mln would be used as investment when business opportunities come.

The placing price of HK$0.247 represented a discount of 19.02% of the closing price on Monday and the placed shares accounted for 16.22% of the expanded shares. 

Everest International Investments would resume trading today.
