HK stocks half-day short-selling turnover at HK$223 mln

56 Hong Kong stocks were short sold in the morning involving HK$223 mln, of which 16 companies were red chips and state-owned, including China Unicom (0762), China Mobile (0941), Amoy Properties (0101) and PCCW (0008) with combined turnover of HK$20 mln to HK$30 mln. 

Among the red chips, Denway Motors (0203) topped the list of short-selling turnover, involving HK$11.96 mln.
