Taiwan Tech stocks soft with index falling over 1%

Taiwan Weighted Index could not step out of weak stance. Moreover, China Telecom was still soft after selling stake. The investors believed that the lack of funds pulled the price down 1.7% and other wafer stocks also saw selling pressure, closing at 5209.71 pts, down 56.33 pts, or 1.07%.
