Brilliance China May sales slow down to 4800, price cut by 5%-7%

Credit Lyonnais uncovered in its morning briefing that sales of light passenger cars and freight trucks of Brilliance China Automotive Holdings (1114) in May were still stagnant with a total of 4800 cars and trucks sold out, almost the same with the same period of the last year. As the competence is very intense, the company lowered the price by 5% to 7% in May. The gross profit of the existing types may be lowered by 1% or 2%. However, Lynonnais expected the introduction of light passenger and freight car from Toyota to benefit the earnings of the company.
